Mary Loucks was a role model and friend. She gave without
reservation to those in need around her. When I first met Mary, she
shared with me a quote from Albert Sweitzer. This quote embodies my
philosophy on volunteerism:
“I don’t know what your destiny will be but one thing I know: the
only ones among you who will feel really happy are those of you who will have sought and found how to serve.”
My volunteer focus is children. For over 25 years I have
volunteered wherever I have lived, finding ways to make the lives of
children better and more fulfilling. Below is a partial list of
